March 2026 Chapter Meeting
March 9, 2026
12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Join us for our next GA Chapter ASSP meeting on Monday, March 9th, 2026!
LaNiesha Littleton, Founder/CEO at iHealth 360, will be presenting on Ergonomics in Action: Managing Risk Across Assessments, Controls, and Program Outcomes
This Session presents a practical, lifecycle-based approach to ergonomics that moves beyond standalone assessments toward sustained risk control. Using real-world industrial examples, attendees will explore how ergonomic assessments serve as a critical decision point for selecting engineering, administrative, and work practice controls that directly influence injury prevention, employee performance, and return-to-work success. Participants will leave with a clear framework for managing ergonomic risk across assessment, control, and outcomes—transforming ergonomics from a compliance obligation into a results-driven safety program.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
1. Explain the role of ergonomic risk assessments as the foundation of an effective risk control strategy, rather than a standalone compliance activity.
2. Identify common gaps between ergonomic assessments and implementation of controls that limit injury reduction and program effectiveness.
3. Apply a lifecycle approach to ergonomic risk management, connecting assessment findings to engineering, administrative, and training-based controls.
4. Recognize how ergonomic controls influence key safety and business outcomes, including injury rates, workers’ compensation claims, and return-to-work success.
5. Describe practical strategies for measuring ergonomic program outcomes, enabling safety leaders to demonstrate impact and support continuous improvement.
