Raymond Scott from HBNEXT will be presenting on Pet Peeves: Dangers of Non-Standard Safety Rules on the Job Site

Raymond Scott started his career drawing blueprints in an engineering office, and then he moved into the precast / pre-stress industry as an inspector, production foreman, and plant manager. For a short time while completing his degree, he tried his hand at contractor sales, however construction won him over, and he joined a major GC as a laborer. After going through the positions of concrete finishing foreman, labor foreman, general foreman, craft supervisor, assistant superintendent, and job superintendent, he reached project superintendent in only two years. After spending nearly a decade on the road, he joined a local GC where he spent another 9 years as a superintendent. Joining a developer in 2001 as the construction manager, he headed up all the development / construction work from site evaluation through moving in the tenants. Over a three year period he was responsible for more than 30 projects plus maintenance on all of the properties. After that, he started a consulting company that provided similar services for several local developers, and then recently served as an owner’s safety consultant and representative for GE Aviation. Now, he is on board with HB NEXT, passing on four decades of experience to new workers.
