Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the EHSS expert for the facility, implementing EHS requirements through the plant team and employee accountability.
  • Engage the workforce to strengthen EHS culture and support zero harm.
  • Lead EHSS initiatives that reduce risk and drive safe, planet-friendly practices.
  • Improve the overall safety culture across the facility.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to plant leadership in alignment with Dura-Line and Orbia standards, including sustainability priorities.
  • Influence leaders and employees to achieve EHSS goals and expected behaviors.
  • Monitor and drive performance against KPIs including TTIR, LTIR, Near Misses, and ISO/Audit results.
  • Verify compliance through inspections, risk assessments, site audits, and evaluation of processes and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in safety, Health, Environmental, Science, Engineering, or a related field, or 8+ years of equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of site EHSS experience in a manufacturing environment, including safety and environmental administration and project management.
  • Knowledge of federal EHS requirements including OSHA, EPA, SWPPP, EPCRA, Tier II, and industrial hygiene.
  • Experience with accident investigation, regulatory reporting, training, and report writing.
