Regional Service EHS Manager SE

Salary $110,000 – $135,000


We are recruiting for a full-time Regional Service EHS Manager position as an employee of our vehicular service center client in Southern VA, NC, SC, GA, AL, MS, TN. The position requires being based on-site in near one of the locations listed below.  Relocation assistance within the US is available. This is one of over 50 current EHS positions being recruited for nationwide.

What you will be doing:
The Service EHS Manager oversees safety, health, environmental, and regulatory compliance programs across service locations. Leveraging expertise in industrial or heavy-duty repair, this role conducts audits, delivers training, and advises on program development to ensure maximum safety and compliance within our service centers.

Minimum requirements for the position are: 

  • Unrestricted authorization to work for any employer in the United States.
  • Ability to commute or relocate to a location within the region, see below
  • 5+ years of EHS management experience. 

Additional preferred competencies include: 

  • 10 years of EHS management experience in vehicular service center environments.
  • Professional Certification (i.e. CSP, CIH, CHMM, REHS, MSP, REM, CEP, etc.)

Primary responsibilities include:  

  • Partner with plant leadership colleagues and serve as SME regarding interpretation and application of federal, state and local EHS regulations.
  • Align corporate and local EHS goals and strategies.
  • Lead employee training programs regarding EHS behaviors and compliance.
  • Lead EHS audits and inspections developing remediation plans as needed.
  • Lead multi-media environmental compliance including, but not limited to: Water (SPCC, storm); Waste (hazardous and non-hazardous); Air (internal respiratory and external emissions)
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with federal, state and local regulators.
  • Lead Continuous Improvement initiative regarding EHS policies and programs.
  • Maintain and ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state and local EHS regulation
