Danny Raines is the author of Legend of an Ole’ Lineman, True Lessons of a Journey Man. His book is a collection of stories from lessons learned and mistakes made as he progressed through his career at Georgia Power Company (GPC). Danny applied for and was awarded a position as ‘Helper on Line Crew’ immediately after graduating High School. He retired after 40 years as a Safety Consultant for Distribution and Transmission at GPC.
